A Busy Summer So Far At Almond Valley Care Home

We've had some wonderful summer moments together and it's been great to see so many residents enjoying time outdoors. The weather lately has been glorious and it was great to get outside and enjoy the sunshine. A huge thank you to Cycling Without Age Scotland for a fantastic trishaw ride around the beautiful Callendar House Park. It was a lovely opportunity for residents to take in the fresh air, enjoy the scenery and spend time together whilst having a chuckle.

Spending time outdoors can have a real positive impact on wellbeing. As Care UK says, "Outdoor activities, from walking to gardening or even more adventurous and energetic pastimes, can bring huge emotional and physical benefits." Summer days like these remind us just how important it is to make the most of the warmer weather and what is around us to enjoy.
Well done to everyone who took part in Team Aston for the Maid of the Forth Project Agnes, it was great to see everyone getting involved and supporting the event and taking in the beautiful views.
A big thank you to everyone who helped make these events possible. We look forward to enjoying more summer outings and special moments together over the coming weeks.
